Phoolchand Jaydev Khandelwal Integrity award given at Golaghat
The 11th Phoolchand Jaydev Khandelwal Integrity Award for the year 2011 has been awarded to noted writer of children books from Arunachal Pradesh Kengsam Kenglang. This award is sponsored by the Khandelwal family in association with Golaghat Dist. Assam Sahitya Sabha. A trophy and a cheque of Rs.15,000/- had been handed over to Mr. Kengsam Kenglang by the president of Assam Sahitya Sabha Mr. Ronbong Terang. It is noteworthy that this award is given to non-assamese writers for their praise worthy contribution to assamese literature.
