Golaghat AGP burns CM's effigy
The party workers of Asom Gana Parishad’s Golaghat dist. unit today burnt the effigy of Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi to protest alleged deterioration in law and order in the state and failure of the state government to control the fresh violence that had erupted in the BTAD area. The demonstration was led by Atul Bora, Executive President of AGP. "The rule of law has vanished in Assam. Tarun Gogoi loves to play with the bloods of the innocents and he has no right to be in power” Bora alleged to reporters.
