voter awareness campaign failed to make impact on Dr.Manmohan Singh, Prim Minister of India, as he did not cast vote here. What do you expect from general public? Though he later on said that he has casted vote throuh Postal Ballot, he had to give the explanation due to report in the media fearing criticism- one feel.

5 policemen killed in border dispute with Mizoram

Two trampled by wild pachyderm in Goalpara

In yet another incident of human-elephant conflict, two persons lost their lives in the Goalpara district of Assam today. Bhaturam Rabha (45) and Mithun Mallick (22) had been trampled by wild pachyderm at Govindpur in Rangagara. Residents say that the two were trampled by a loner elephant. Assam Don Bosco University has been ranked in the group 301-400 with a score from 70.9 to 66.3, in the recently released Impact Rankings by the TIMES Higher Education (THE) which ranked 1,115 Higher Education Institutions from 94 countries/regions.
