Gogoi leaving for Delhi; sets out for New York

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi is leaving for New Delhi on Thursday to set out for New York.

According to official information, Mr Gogoi is schedule to leave for New York on Friday midnight to attend a summit India @ 60.

Mr Gogoi is also schedule to attend yet another function being organised to mark the 60th anniversy of India’s Independence to be inaugurated by external affairs minister Pranab Mukherjee on September 23.

On September 26, the Chief Minister will attend the North East Investment Conference in New York being organized by CII and DONER. Mr Gogoi is schedule to return on September 28.

A cultural troup from the state is also leaving for the United States of America to participate in the cultural function in the NE Investment summit.
