Tension still prevails at Charaipung bordering Arunachal Pradesh a day after armed miscreants targetted two ministers during their stock-taking visit.The situation is calm on Wednesday and there is no report of any fresh untoward incident during the last 12 hours.But AASU,AJYCP along with 10 other local organisations are still continuing economic blockade against Arunachal Pradesh. In yet another development,pro talk ULFA leaders began an indefinite economic blockade on the Margherita-Changlang road from Wednesday in protest against the Charaipung incidents. Meanwhile,Arunachal Pradesh has denied NSCN's hands behind these strings of incidents.But the Assam governtment on Tuesday charged the Naga insurgent outfit of unleashing terror along the Assam-Nagaland border. The authorities have issued shoot a sight order at Charaipung.
