New junior science college opened at Tangla


In order to provide quality science education to economically backward students of Udalguri,who cannot afford to study in Guwahati or elsewhere in the country,a juniour science college named -Arunodoi junior Science College has been etablished recently at Tangla. A public meeting which was presided over by Lakhi Kanta Ramchiary decided to open the new junior science college at Tangla from July 2010 under the supervision of a Tangla NGO 'Arunodoi'.


While talking to media persons, Napolean Daimari,Principal, Arunodoi Academy High School,Tangla said that the junior science college was established as there had not been a good science institution for higher secondary level students in and around Tangla.It needs mentioned that the new junior science college will start classes from the month of July 2010 at its own premises situated in ward No. 4 Tangla.
