A student of Regional College of Higher Education, a branch of Central IT College on Friday reportedly tried to commit suicide by jumping from the 2nd floor of the hostel he was staying later succummed to his injuries on way to cities GNRC Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. According to the college authorities, the deceased namely Himangshu Ranjan Kalita, hailed from Nalbari was a BBA student today evening jumped from the 2nd floor of the college hostel based at Ajanta path of survey area in Guwahati and the cause of suicide is yet to be ascertained.
