The 7 years old rhino,which had been straying away from Orang National Park yesterday,finally took shelter in the village Bijulibari (Borkola) under Kalaigaon police station on the very morning of December 13 at 4 am.When the attempt to redirect it to Orang NP had failed,the forest and WWF authorities tried to tranquilize it at Borkola village.But before the belated attempt had been made to tranquilize the rhino ,the panicked rhino ran away to another place, Abhoypukhuri,8 km away from Borkola.It needs mention that thousands of villagers had assembled at the site which made the rhino panicked.Later it further moved away north towards Kabirali via Bananguri.
