BPF expels senior party officials of Kalaigaon

Bodoland Peoples’ Front (BPF) has recently expelled four of its senior party officials of Kalaigaon Block BPF (35 Mudaibari) committee for their anti party activities. At a press meet held in BPF office at Kalaigaon on September 23,party central secretary Jagadish Sarkar and block BPF president Khitish Baro,told media persons that – Sujit Dutta, ( general secretary ); Deben Saikia (chief organizing secretary);Badar Ali ( organizing secretary) and Mainul Haque ( treasurer ) of Kalaigaon block BPF committee have been expelled from the party for six years under section 14 of the party constitution and their primary had also been cancelled.according to information,Prangopal Adhikary has been appointed as the general secretary. Talking to this correspondent, central BPF secretary Jagadish Sarkar said that a district level workshop on socio- economic problems would be held at Kalaigaon on October 4 where party workers would be trained on welfare activities..He also said that another huge public rally would be arranged centrally at Udalguri on October 1 where more than 300 leading people from various organizations and political parties, would formally join BPF in presence of party chief Hagrama Mahilary. According to him district level officials of AASU, AJYCP, AGP,BJP etc would join BPF.
