Career Counseling at Chatia College
In a bid to sensitize young people to choose right career and improve
the standard of life the Anchalik Committees of Biswanath Chariali and
Na Duar of All Bodo Students Union organized one day career and
personality development programme. The programme which was held on
16th August was attended by different guest and resource person. Being
held at the Chatia College in Sonitpur district, the programme was
inaugurated by Pramod Boro, President of ABSU and it was moderated by
Chunilal Basuatary, President of Sonitpur District ABSU. Sangrang
Brahma and JD H Basumaatry from Central Institute of Technology,
Kokrajhar and Ranjan K Baruah, youth activist from Guwahati
participated as the resource person in the programme. Various planning
methods while selecting the career and how to gather information from
various sources were discussed thoroughly by the resource person.

The programme begun with lighting lamp by Dr S K Jain, Principal of JNV .Ranjan K Baruah., youth activist from Guwahati delivered the talk. The meeting would be held at the conference room of North East Diocesan Social Forum based at Joypur, Kharghuli. Different civil society groups and individuals are attending the meeting.
