Jatiyatabadi Yuva Chatra Parishad submits memo to CM

The Barpeta district unit of Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuva Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister demanding the development of the govt. educational institution of Barpeta district. In the memorandum, it was stated that the state govt. had not taken any necessary steps to improve the educational institutions of the district. As a result the condition of the govt. schools at Barpeta became deplorable. But the govt had not taken any developmental steps to improve it. On the contrary the venture schools teachers also have to suffer a lot and some of them even retired without the salary. The educational environment of the schools deteriorated as there is no permanent principals or head masters in most of the schools in the entire district.moreover, so many posts of teachers remained vacant and the students community have to suffer for it.On the other hand the salary of the teachers are not regular and badly affected the students.And some of the schools of the district remained close for some govt. works and for it the classes have to suspended and it also hamper the students. The AJYCP unit also mentioned in the memo that there is not any such plan for the unsuccessful students and year to year it became a great problem. The unit again demanded to make history and geography as compulsory subject in the high school level, because the students of today do not have any knowledge about these subject.
