AGP dares Himanta to name 2 MLAs in CM's residence

The Opposition Asom Gana Parishad has dared Congress leader Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma to disclose the names of two party MLAs who called on Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi at his residence.

Addressing a press conference in Guwahati a day after Dr Sarma made the sensational revelation, AGP general secretary Dr Kamala Kalita said on Sunday that miffed at Dr Sarma's style of functionings, four Congress MLAs want to join the AGP. "Four Congress MLAs want to call on AGP president Mr Patowary to join our party," said Dr Kalita.

According to Dr Kalita, the minister could not substantiate his allegations of a cash deal between AGP and BJP in the name of seat sharing deal as they forged poll pact. Dr Kamala Kalita also said, "He is suffering from manic excitement".
