36th Martyr's Day Observed in Udalguri
The 36th Martyr's Day of the former NDFB was commemorated at the Kajiamati Thulunga Fwthar in Udalguri on Saturday with a day-long program.
The event, organized by former NDFB members in association with the Bangburgwra Foundation, Udalguri, paid tribute to the dedication and sacrifice of the NDFB martyrs. The day is observed annually on September 14th to mark the death anniversary of Bangburgwra Boro, the organization's first martyr.
Several dignitaries, including BTR CEM Pramod Boro, ABSU president Dipen Boro, and BTR executive members, attended the event to honor the martyrs and their contributions to the Bodo movement for a separate homeland.
An open session was held as part of the commemoration. CEM Boro addressed the gathering, highlighting the significance of the day and the sacrifices made by the NDFB martyrs. He emphasized the importance of their ideals in guiding the BTR towards a peaceful and progressive future.

According to police, two people were travelling on a bike and met with mishaps that claimed two people on the spot at a roadside parking dumper in Pakriguri along JD Road late at night around 2.15 am on Tuesday night under Kokrajhar police station.
