Dire trouble for Biren Singh govt

Imphal: In a high voltage drama, at least 9 legislators have pulled out of the BJP-led coalition putting CM NBiren Singh in dire trouble.
The drama began as soon as 3 BJP MLAs quit  the party and joined Congress.  Then 3 NPP ministers including DY CM Joykumar and an MLA have written to CM withdrawing support.
 
In yet another development a TMC and an independent MLA have also deserted the BJP-led coalition.

The Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) has sanctioned Rs 25 crore to introduce air ambulance service in remote locations of Manipur, Governor Dr Najma Heptulla has said. Three militants, including one woman, belonging to the SK Thadou group of United Tribal Liberation Army (UTLA) were killed when a gun fight erupted with a group of militants suspected to be that of UTLA (Poukhai) at Muktakhal village within Jiribam district in the wee hours of Sunday.   According to a report, the encounter happened around 12:30 am.
