Seminar for healthy media
Manipur Legislative Assembly Secretariat on Wednesday organised One Day Seminar on "Media and Parliamentary Reporting" at the Conference Hall, Manipur Legislative Assembly attended by media fraternity both from print and electronic.
The first time seminar in the history of Manipur Legislative Assembly organised specially for media person was divided as inaugural and technical sessions.
In the inaugural session, Speaker, Manipur Legislative Assembly Y. Khemchand Singh, President, Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee and MLA T.N. Haokip, former Chief Minister Radhabinod Koijam, former Minister O. Joy Singh and Secretary, Manipur Legislative Assembly Smt. Ramani Devi graced as Chief Guest, President and Guests of Honour respectively.
In the technical session, T.N. Hoakip delivered lecture on "Relation between Legislature and Media", Dr. N Pramod Singh, Associate Professor, LMS Law College on "Constitutional Provisions on the Priviledge and Parliamentary Reporting", Radhabinod Koijam on "Parliamentary Procedures" and O. Joy Singh on "Reporting of the Proceedings of the House and Breach of Priviledge and Contempt of the House".

Churachandpur, July 4, 2023: The Rural Women Upliftment Society in Churachandpur, Manipur, recently organized a two-day health camp on July 3rd and 4th, 2023, to provide crucial medical assistance to victims of the recent ethnic violence in the area.
