Focus on Anukul philosophy

TANGLA: Nearly two thousand disciples of Thakur Anukulchandra from various parts of the state thronged Satsang Vihar in Tangla on Sunday to mark the 31st Foundation Day.
 Apart from religious songs and prayers throughout the day, a discussion on Thakur’s philosophy and universal peace was also held on the occasion.

 Retired Principal of V.B.P High School,Kopati, Pradip Malakar presided over the function flanked by Dr. N.C Mitra who delivered sermon on the ocassion.

“Satsang Vihar is a movement that promotes amity and tolerance among people, irrespective of their religious affiliations. Thakur's philosophy on the values of humanity is extremely relevant in today's world," Pradip Malakar said.
The Tangla Satsang Vihar was inaugurated by Acharya Dev Sri Sri Dada way back in March 1987.

The Jana Jagaran society in a good deed towards mother nature organized a massive plantation drive at Bor Tangla L.P/ME School premises on Thursday. The normal life was totally paralyzed in Udalguri district during the 24 hour Assam bandh called by Pradip Ray faction of AKRSU on Wednesday. Tangla, Mazbat, Rowta were heavily affected with complete shutdown of buisiness establishments.Udalguri town owing to its weekly market day evoked mixed response. Schools and colleges remained unaffected with good attendence . Private vehicles were seen plying across the road. The dip in overall pass percentage of all the three streams – Arts, Science and Commerce in  the 2017 HS  examination conducted by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council has resulted in dip in cutoff marks in Tangla College compared to last year.The admission process is underway in Tangla College in undergraduate courses in all the three streams arts, science and commerce.
