A 4-day long creative writing workshop aimed at honing the writing skills of the students concluded here at Arunodoi Academy school of Tangla on Saturday. The workshop was graced as resource person by author Jebilion Boro, journalist Shajid Khan,Jadumoni Basumatari and poet Violeena Deka. The students were given various tips on improving their vocabulary,use of metaphors,idioms,sentence construction,report writing,poem writing,making chatacters in stories among others. On the concluding day event journalist Khan encouraged the children to cultivate the art of putting their thoughts in black and white and imbibe the habit of writing diaries, chronicling their thoughts and feelings on a regular basis. He also asked students to read newspapers amd magazines to improve one's writing skill and stay updated with current affairs. The workshop ended with a vote of thanks by Napolean Daimari principal of the academy.
