International Yoga Day observed by Army in Udalguri and Darrang

Assam Minister Rihon Daimari,Udalguri DC,Sadhana Hojai and Commanding Officer of 14 Dogra Regiment participating in Yoga camp at Udalguri on June 21
Civil administration of Udalguri and army personnel of 14 Dogra Regiment under Red Horns Division,(Gajraj Corps)celebrated 3rd International Yoga Day on June 21 at various places in Udalguri and Darrang districts with great enthusiasm and zeal.The Yoga Day was celebrated in collaboration with civil administration and Patanjali Yoga Samiti.The aim of celebrating Yoga Day among civilians was to promote peace and harmony among all.A total strength of approximately 2750 civilians comprising man,woman and children attended the yoga sessions organised by Army at different places.At Udalguri Yoga camp was organized by Udalguri district administration in association with 14 Dogra Regiment under Red Horns Division at the Parade Ground of the office of the Deputy Commissioner,Udalguri.It was attended by Rihon Daimari,Minister,PHE,Food and Civil Supply, Assam;Sadhana Hojai,Deputy Commissioner, Udalguri;Col. Durgesh Kumar Bansal,Commanding Officer,14 Dogra Regiment along with other distinguished political leaders and officials beside common people.In addition to this nine officers,245 other ranks also participated at various Yoga camps organized on the occasion.
