BWA felicitates super dancer Masoom

Bodo Writer's Academy felicitated super dancer grand finalist Masoom Narzary at a programme held at Bijni College in Chirang district on Monday.

Masoom Narzary, a grand finalist in Super Dancer competition held in Sony TV where she presented good dancing performance that created attractions among dancing lover audience across the country. Recently, she has been selected to act as child role Bollywood movie in Mumbai and her shooting would be started from March 15. Masoom presented a Bodo patriotic dance on the occasion.

Rajen Basumatary, acting president of Bodo Writer's Academy felicitated Masoom with traditional Aronai and citation with Umesh Chandra Brahma, executive secretary of the academy in the chair.

Noted writer Mangalsingh Hazoary, Subungcha Mushahary, Dinonath Basumatary,noted singer Sulekha Basumatary,social activist Rajendra Nath Boro were prominent attendees on the occasion.

Sharp Rise in Malaria Cases in Kokrajhar: Two Deaths Reported

Kokrajhar district is grappling with a significant malaria outbreak, with 1,991 cases reported up to November 20, 2024, marking a stark rise from 256 cases recorded in 2023.
