Murder attempt aborted

At a time when a village headman looks after the village administration, keeps smooth running of law and order, maintains peace and harmony in the village, the village headman of villages No.1 Borengajuli, No.2 Borengajuli and No.3 Borengajuli Mr. Beni Madhav Rajbanshi has played a role of a villain and attempted to murder his own brothers wife Mrs. Gita Rajbanshi and her daughters Miss Priya Rajbanshi and Pinky Rajbanshi. The three were seriously injured by sharp weapons and have been given first aid. On this regard the injured family lodged an FIR in the Dimakuchi police station but police have failed to arrest the culprit yet. The helpless family of Gita Rajbanshi have now been homeless and in this regard they have approached to the district judicial magistrate for further judicial action.

A tea worker of Borengajuli tea estate under Dimakuchi PS in Udalguri district gave birth to an infant in tea bushes while plucking tea leaves. The worker has been admitted in the civil hospital Tangla while her infant baby was found dead. The workers have created a havoc in this regard. The female tea workers usually loaded with heavy burden and pressure & ignorance  from the management have been left for survival.  
The workers of Bhutiachang tea estate in Assam's Udalgur district on Tuesday thrashed the doctor of the garden following the death of an adult girl Mansika Mahali (13). They alleged that the worker died owing to the negligence and wrong treatment by Subindra Bishwal, the Senior Medical Officer of the garden. Sources said Mansika Mahali, a tea garden worker's daughter, was down with fever for the past night. She was brought to the dispensary around 4 am on Tuesday. Properties worth lakhs of rupees have been ravaged when a huge storm unleashed a reign of terror in Udalguri district disrupting surface communication in many places on Saturday morning. Accompanied by heavy downpour, the storm hit Tangla, Bhergaon, Dimakuchi, Totlapara, Dharamjuli, Nashanshali, Borengajuli  in the morning which continued for around half an hour.
