Chhath Puja observed in Kokrajhar

The Chhath Puja celebrated in Kokrajhar, heart of BTAD administration along with rest of the state on Sunday.

The Puja was organized by Surya Sasthi Puja Sah Samaj Kalyan Committee, Kokrajhar at Patharghat Gaurang River bank in Kokrajhar district.

Hundreds of Chatt Puja devotees and followers throng the river bank to worship prayer and floral to Sun Devota on the occasion. The river bank saw a colorful with lighting while celebrating the festive situation.

BTC executive member Doneswar Goyary, former BTC executive member Derhasat Basumatary,President of the organizing committee are prominent attendees on the occasion.

Goyary extending best wishes to the devotees and followers on the occasion said that it is a festival of worship to Sun God.
