Wild jumbo tramples 1 to death

At a time when Man-elephant conflict has taken worst turn in Udalguri district a man  was trampled to death by a wild elephant at 2 No. Samrang  area under Dimakuchi PS of Udalguri district near the Indo-Bhutan border on Thursday morning.

Reportedly Lakhiram Praja(55) was trampled to death,by a wild jumbo while he was working in a paddy field.  Police have retrieved the body and sent it to post-mortem.

On the other hand a recovery of unidentified dead body has created sensation in Jhalimukh area under Panery PS following the recovery of a dead body near a stream. Police have recovered the body further investigations are on .
