Bodo sahitya sabah slams Assam sahitya sabha
The Bodo sahitya sabha has slammed the Assam sahitya sabha for it's insincerity remarks on Bodo sahitya sabha on language policy adoption in the state.
Speaking the reporters today at RNB Bhawan in Kokrajhar, Dr Kameswar Brahma, president and Kamala Kanta Mushahary, general secretary of the Bodo sahitya sabha said that the Bodo sabha was not stand against of any language in the state. The sabha only stated the language policy that has figured in the SCERT norms highlighting mother tongue languages on priority in it's. They alleged that Assam sahitya sabha president Dr Dhrubajyoti Bora, do not want development of indigenous languages including Bodo. The Assam sabha have been showing their gravity of Bangladeshi, so they want explore Bangladeshis in the state through expressing welfare of the so called Assamese.
The sabha leaders strongly condemned the reactions from Dr Bora on Bodo sabha for adoption of language policy highlighting mother tongue in it's spirits.
'We have never gone against any of language in the state, we respect equal development and uplift of all language in the state', Dr Brahma said.
The sabha leaders demanded early implementation of the Assam Accord which still have been unimplemented in the state. The Assam sahitya sabha should demand implementation of the historic Assam Accord so that Assam state can get healthy and integrated environment, but still today the Assam sabha never raised their voice for the issue in the state, the Bodo sabah leaders alleged.

An emergency response mock drill was conducted by the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) at Habrubari in Kokrajhar district on Friday,which was a part of offsite emergency mock on the IOCL Guwahati-Siliguri underground pipeline to test the preparedness of its emergency personnel.
