Vehicle lifting cases on the rise

Even as police administration has been stepping to check anti social activities, bike-vehicle stealing situation in the district, a Mini truck 407 model was stoled from a parking place at Mokrapara village under Kokrajhar PS late last night in Kokrajhar. 

Villagers alleged that stealing and anti social activities are increasing day by day due to security lapse in the area, though villager and several organisations intimated about incidents to the police administration. 

A Mini truck 407 model bearing registration AS 16C-4452 was again stoled from Chintu Sheik of Mokrapara village which was parked at his own parking site. 

A FIR against the incident was lodged with police in Kokrajhar registered with 834/15, u/s 379 IPC. 

Chintu told that the truck was stolen from the parking site by some anti social activists in the area. He has expressed his suspect that some identified persons are involved with stealing.

Jaidul Islam saidcthst vehicles and bike stealing has been creating resented among citizens in the area as large numbers of vehicle and bikes were stolen since last few years due to failure police administration. 

He has slammed police administration said that citizens and several organisations are pressing to provide security in the area, yet district administration has not stepped up strong to check anti social activities and stealing of vehicle and bikes. 

He has demanded early check of anti social elements and held peace and harmony situation.
