Adivasi Mahasabha underway
The Adivasi Mahasabha enters third day at the Magurmari High School ground in Kokrajhar on Sunday. The Mahasabha held its delegate session on Saturday with Wilfred Topno as president where the delegates from various districts gathered and discussed cultural, language and development of the community.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Pradip Kumar Bhagawati attended the session and released the souvenir and books on the occasion. National Commission for Scheduled Tribes chairman Dr Rsmeswar Oraon is scheduled to attend as chief guest on Sunday.

An emergency response mock drill was conducted by the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) at Habrubari in Kokrajhar district on Friday,which was a part of offsite emergency mock on the IOCL Guwahati-Siliguri underground pipeline to test the preparedness of its emergency personnel.
