DC visits local school

West Siang Deputy Commissioner Pige Ligu visited the Rama Krishna Mission School and interacted teachers and students of the school on Wednesday.
He insisted on submitting estimates on urgent requirements of the school so that it can be mobilized at different levels to garner fund for the development of the school. Expressing his happiness on the countdown that begins to celebrate Golden Jubilee Year of the premier institution of the state in 2016, he stressed on the need to give a big facelift by then and as a part of it a mass social service is planned by the alumni of the school.

The East Siang unit of All Arunachal Pradesh Labour Union (AAPLU) has struck deal with Third Eye Computer Education to provide free of cost computer training to unprivileged youths. Both the parties reached the pact formally at a function opened by MLA Kaling Moyong in Pasighat at Mirmir Tiniali. Twenty five students will under go for free and subsidized six months computer training. Moyong said the training program is aimed at providing better employment opportunities to the unemployment youths.
