NDFB-S dy commandent held in Chirang

In a major success in the counter insurgency operation in BTAD areas, security forces captured a dreaded NDFB-S militant in Chirang district on Wednesday.

Identified as Udiyachal Daimary@Udangcha, the deputy commandant of the Bodo insurgent outfit trained up in Myanmar was held from Runikhata area during a massive combing operation in wee hours.

Police further claimed to have seized some arms and ammunition from his possession.
