Post flood scene reviewed in Namsai

The post flood situation in Namsai district of Arunachal Pradesh was reviewed by the Deputy Commissioner. At a meeting on Monday. MLA Namsai Chau Zingnu Namchoom along with all senior officials of Namsai district were present in the meeting.

Namsai DC R.K. Sharma requested the authorities to depute medical and veterinary teams to the affected areas to keep close vigil especially on post flood water born diseases.

Arunachal steps in to bridge yawning gap

The Arunachal Pradesh cabinet on Friday recommend a proposal for connectivity to unconnected habitations in border areas under Border Area Development Programme (BADP) as a special case.Seventy two roads located in 23 border blocks covering 12 districts would be taken up under the programme. Pawan hans chopper missing Arunachal

Pawan Hans choppers would be missing in the sky of Arunachal Pradesh. That too more than one month after the Lungdong tragedy.The state cabinet on Friday finalized move to suspend the operation of Pawan Hans helicopter in the state till completion of inquiry into the recent incident.The state government has already written to the home ministry to conduct a thorough inquiry into the incident to unearth the facts behind repeated accidents of Pawan Hans Helicopters in the state after from the Lungding tragedy where a Pawan Hans chopper carrying Tirap deputy commissioner Kamalesh Joshi crashlanded on the way to Khunsa.
