Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi said that Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma’s entry into BJP will put the people in utter confusion over the chief ministerial candidate.
Hours after Dr Sarma unofficially joined BJP, Gogoi said that if Sarma is made the chief ministerial candidate then what is in store for Sarbananda Sonowal and Siddharth Bhattacharya.
Talking to reports Gogoi wondered why and how Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma joined BJP a day after he was proud of his party’s victory in the Tiwa autonomous council polls.

PRASENJIT SAHAAGARTALA: Justice Ajay Rastogi took the oath as new Chief Justice of Tripura on Thursday who vowed to expedite the justice delivery system in the north eastern state. LAKWA: A private gas agency employee died and two others sustained serious injury when a gas tank owned by it exploded in Lakwa on Wednesday. The incident took place at 11 in the morning when the tank suddenly exploded with a huge sound leaving employee Prasanta Mohan dead on the spot. Two others who sustained injury have been rushed to the hospital where the duo are struggling with death.
