Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi said that Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma’s entry into BJP will put the people in utter confusion over the chief ministerial candidate.
Hours after Dr Sarma unofficially joined BJP, Gogoi said that if Sarma is made the chief ministerial candidate then what is in store for Sarbananda Sonowal and Siddharth Bhattacharya.
Talking to reports Gogoi wondered why and how Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma joined BJP a day after he was proud of his party’s victory in the Tiwa autonomous council polls.

A gang of miscreants raped a girl before mercilessly killing her in Karbi Anglong sending huge shockwaves and anger across the state on Friday. The stage is set for holding the Karbi Anglong Autonomous council polls on June 12. The state poll panel has already announced the poll schedule for 26 seats in the 30 member autonomous body.
