Green valley defeats Barhungka AC

Green valley Sports Club, Guwahati defeats Barhungka Athletic Club, Kokrajhar in the opening match for Lower Assam group of Assam State Premier League by 1-0 goal here at KDSA  ground in Kokrajhar. 

BTC deputy chief Kampa Borgoyari inaugurated the match in the presence of huge sports loving gathering. 

Michael Lucky of Green valley scored lone goal in 45 minutes of first half against Barhungka in the first league match of the premier. 

Barhungka will take on Global FC, Gossaigaon for second league match on June 3 next. 

World boxer, L Sarita Devi who is brand Ambassador of the Barhungka AC graced the function as chief guest and enjoyed sports enthusiastic moments in Kokrajhar. 

Devi expressed her optimistic that ASPL will bring good sports personal in the region  as people's are enjoying sports situation. 

Among others, Hemendra Nath Brahma, president of Assam Football Association was also present on the session.
