A major explosion averted in Karbi Anglong when police seized a huge quantity of explosives from a passenger bus on Friday. These include 1,720 gelatin sticks.According to SP Mukdhya Jyoti Mahanta, these were seized during a routine checking at the CRPF check point at Bokajan where 86 packets of gelatin sticks, 30 packets of detonators, and 286 metres of cable wires were seized from the Dimapur-bound bus travelling from Shillong.Police have arrested two drivers of the bus.
