The Arunachal Pradesh government has barred all visitors from entering the State from 21 March. In an order issued on Thursday, the government said that all visitors/tourist inner line permits stand cancelled with immediate effect. Chief Minister Pema Khandu in a tweet said that as precautionary measure, Arunachal is closing its door to all visitors in view of Covid-19 pandemic. He said all inner line permits (ILPs) issued earlier stand cancelled. He said the well-being of the people of the State comes first. Let us be alert & take necessary precautions. Guwahati: Ratcheting up control measures against the Covid-19 corona virus, the Assam government on Thursday ordered the temporary closure of all liquor bars, night clubs, beauty parlors and salons immediately as a precautionary measure. All parks in the city including Shraddhanjali Kanan, Nehru Park, TR Phookan Park, Sankardev Udyan, etc have already been closed to the public. Meanwhile, the State Health department has begun conducting the screening of passengers in different locations of the city.
