Election office vandalised ahead of BTC election

As few days has left to the BTC election, violence witnesses within party supporters late last night in Banargaon constituency with two BPF and one BJP election offices vandalised and torched in Kokrajhar district.

BPF election offices at Anthaibil and Belguri village for the candidate of Rajib Brahma were vandalised and torched by unidentified miscreants.The miscreants vandalised the offices and damaged office materials. BPF election office bearers told that unidentified miscreants vandalised and torched the offices at Anthaivil and Belguri under Banargaon constituency late last night and damaged office properties.They informed there were be handi hand from rival parties behind the incidents and FIR has been lodged with police.

The BJP election office at Halangbazar for the candidature of Manoj Kumar Brahma was also vandalised worsely with destroying of banners of the candidates. Party supporters alleged that rival parties were involved with violence and demanded district administration should take stern action against miscreants.

They told that miscreants torned the party banners and bamboo wal of the office taking scope of dark during the night.

The BJP party and party candidate from Banargaon constituency Monoj Kumar Brahma termed the election office vandalising to the saffron party at Halangbazar as undemocratic and lodged complain with police. Brahma expressing serious concern over election office vandalising from rival party and organisations said that it was undemocratic activities taken from rival candidates who have lost faith from publics that's why they are involving in anti-social steps. He said that BJP will be in reign of council with majority supports as his party is winning in large seats in the election. He has said that irrespective of caste, creed and communities are supporting Bjp and their stepping to the council is cent percent clear. While, the BPF has also flayed to the rival parties that miscreants vandalised election offices at Anthaibil and Belguri and accused of Bjp and PCDR were handi hand behind incident.

BPF candidate Rajib Brahma has also accused of that rival parties in the constituency was involved into office vandalising at Anthaibil and Belguri in the coonstituency. He said that rival parties frightening of losing to the seat created resented among voters and torched the election office.

Former president of Kokrajhar district unit of Bharatiya Janata Party, Binati Bala Basumatary resigned from her party membership on Monday.  Basumatary submitted her resignation letter to the state party president citating personal reason . She was Kokrajhar district BJP president for 2011-2015, who had gained strength of the party through her strong leadership in the district. Three cadres of the NDFB(S) were arrested by security forces in a joint operation belonging to police and army at Hakata village under Barama PS in Baksa district on Sunday.
