Tight security be deployed in election: Gogoi

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi said that the BTC council election would be held in free and fair and tight security deployment would be arranged,just after notification announcement of  council election to be held on April 8 next.

Gogoi was addressing the Jana Jagaran rally today  at Dwimalu ground in Kokrajhar ahead of council election said that Congress government was working for the upliftment of social integration since its reigned in the state and will  keep spirit of working for the welfare of the common pubics.He said that Congress is the only alternative party to gain development among various communities in the state as well across the country.He said that people of the council region have been faced several hardship during BPF ruled,as council administration have failed to fulfill aspiration and hopes of the publics.He has stressing the need of the development and integration said that killing,extortion should be stopped and peace be sustained to regain more development.

Gogoi recalling contributions of former leaders from Kokrajhar Rupnath Brahma,Ranendra Narayan Basumatary said that they had contributed lots towards development of society from Congress plateform and still today has been working for all round development of the society.

Gogoi said that Congress will contest the council election putting candiadtes in all 40 constituencies and their winning is cent percent clear as people come out to support Congress.He has urged the common publics of the council to vote for Congress and they will provide good governance and fulfillment of aspirations as peoples are wanting in the region.He has assured that government will deployed tight security during election and election will be held in free and fair manner.   

APCC president Anjan Dutta said that Congress will contest own its candidate to defeat ruling BPF party in the BTC election. He said Congress party will able to capture council on 

their ruled as because BPF has failed to fulfill all aspiration of the peoples in the region during their decade long reign.He has alleged that BPF ruled council administration has been corrupted public wealths,meant for public welfare since their reigning.

‘Bringing of peace and development and equal distribution among various communities in the region,will be the prime issue of the Congress in the council election and hope that people will vote to party’,Dutta said.

Dutta come down heavily of BJP leader Subramaniam Swamy who had remarked on religion recently in Assam said that the BJP is communal party who has been indulging to create communal resented among communities in the country.He has demanded Swamy should beg pardon publicly over his remark on religious which had hurt peoples.

 Among others,Assam Ministers Rokeybul Hussain,Chandan Sarkar,former minister Siddique Ahmed,Parliamentary Secretary Rekibuddin Ahmed,BTC Congress Chief Coordinator Chandi Basumatary were also addressed the rally.
