Action against Siddique!

The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) has show-caused Siddique Ali Ahmed seeking an explanation for his statement.

The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has also served a show-cause notice to the legislator asking him to explain his position within three days.

Party leaders told Assam Times that he might face action if he fails to substantiate the allegation.

The former minister claimed to have requested Gogoi to take up the matter with the Nagaland government after he gathered prior information on the incident.
