Assam bandh total in Kokrajhar

Normal life remained heavily paralyzed in Kokrajhar on Saturday following the 12 hour statewide Assam bandh called in protest the Centre's refugee decision. Kokrajhar wore a deserted look from 6 in the morning under impact of the total bandh. The All Bodo Students Union also supported the band call in protest against the government's decision to grant entry and right to stay for the Hindu migrants from Bangladesh and Pakistan. Road transport communication emained dirupted for the whole day apat from shops and markets.
