The muffler man made it finally. His AAP won 67 out of 70 seats when the counting ended in the afternoon. His two year old party voted out Narendra Modi and his mentor Amit Shah in Delhi.
An upbeat Kejriwal called it a victory for truth and honesty. As the huge crowd thronged the party office, Kejriwal said that the AAP government would bring respite for the poor and the rich alike in Delhi.
Flanked by his wife Sunita, the designated chief minister said that truth and honesty would always win.
“When we walk on the path of honesty and truth, all the powers of the universe come together to help us,” Kejriwal said.
He, asked the AAP leaders and supporters not to become arrogant.
