A huge scam in health department seems to have raised doubts over the Government’s sincerity to inject new hopes in the entire department. ULFA(I) virtually scorned the security forces on Monday when the rebels in search of the sovereign Asom exploded a bomb in Charaideo when the district joined the Independence Day on Monday. Forest officials in Sivasagar district captured a leopard which has been creating a reign of terror at a tea garden area in Geleky. Freedom fighter, president of Nazira District Freedom Fighters Association and veteran Congress leader Subha Gogoi breathed his last at his residence at Mazenga on Thursday.
