GIMT annual fest on January 27-29
Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Management & Technology (GIMT) & Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Pharmaceutical Science (GIPS), will organise their Annual Cultural cum Technical festival called “EUPHUISM’15 PRASINISMA” from January 27-29.
EUPHUISM since its inception in the year 2008 aims to creates a platform for students across the state to showcase their talent in various technical, non-technical & cultural events. The event will feature several events, performances. Prof. Amarendra Kr. Das, IIT Guwahati will grace the inaugural ceremony as the Chief Guest for the occasion.

The workshop was organised by DEW, a socio-cultural organization of Dhing in collaboration with Society for Srimanta Sankaradeva (SSS). In a major development, NCERT has formally promised to include Srimanta Sankaradeva in school curriculum. They have communicated it to Society for Srimanta Sankaradeva (SSS). Chandra Sadayat, Prof and Head, Deptt of Education in Languages (DEL), NCERT informed SSS President Dr Sanjib Kumar Borkakoti about it in a letter.
