AJYCP raids wine shops

Assam Jatiyotabadi Yuva Chattra Parishad in Margherita raided a number of wine shops in the entire sub division on Sunday. They blamed it all on the excise department for allowing mushrooming of illegal wine shops in Margherita.

Talking to Assam Times, AJYCP General Secretary of Margherita said Kanchan Bora  said that more than 50 members of AJYCP activists raided the illegal wine shops and seized foreign liquors worth lakhs of rupees to be handed over  to the excise department.

MARGHERITA: An unclaimed body strikes no less sensation in Margherita after it was recovered on Wednesday. The unidentified body of a youth, who was believed to have been murdered, was spotted at Tiniali on the National Highway 38. The possibility of suicide is also not ruled out since the body bore no marks of injury. After registering a case bearing No 1/2018, the police have sent the body for post mortem.
