Athelatics meet in SSG

The Sainik School premises in Goalpara dresses afresh. The Annual Athelatics meet of for 2014- 15 is underway at the school athelatcis ground. Deputy Commisoner J V N Subramanium opened the event asking to cadets to upheld the spirit of sportsmanship and motivated the young and vibrant cadets to showcase their marvels on both track and field. Much to the delight of the spectators, the elated torch bearing cadets lighted the cauldron after a smart march past and oath taking by the participating cadets. The sporting arena turned into a sight of exuberance as the track and field buzzed with cadets’ athletes brimming into enthusiasm, vigour and determination to earn laurels for their respective houses. The cadets and spectators cheered the athletes and spurred them to go beyond their best to break the previous school records the closing ceremony of the meet would be Friday.
