Adivasis block trains

The All Assam Adivasi Students Union on Wednesday blocked the railway in Gossaigaon in protest against the NDFB-S carnage in Kokrajhar and Sonitpur on Tuesday.

Hundreds of Adivasi people squatted on the railway tracks and prevented the movement of several trains through Gossaigaon. The blockade ended after nearly four hours disrupting the train service.

Similarly, the All Bodo Students Union also took out protest rally in Kokrajhar against the massacre and demanded safety and security of the people.
