10 IEDs recovered in Baksa

Police on Sunday recovered 10 bombs in Baska district hours after Nur Jamal Hoque confessed during interrogation. Acting on the custodial revelations of the Jamat-ul-Mujahideen, security personnel launched a search operation at Panpara area near Salbari in the district and recovered the bombs..

According to police, JMB had stored at least 100 IED in different lower Assam areas. The IED's were recovered from a plantation in the remote area which were stored by Nur Jamal Hoque. Police and National Investigation Agency (NIA) had jointly launched search operation in different areas to recover the other hidden IED.
