Chief minister Tarun Gogoi met Governor JB Patnaik at the Raj Bhawan on Wednesday amid speculation of his preparedness to reshuffle his cabinet.
Gogoi arrived in the Raj Bhawan at around 6 in the evening and talked to him for nearly an hour. The chief minister is be believed to have discussed the current political scenario with the governor.
The assumes significance amid speculations of a section of legislators’ preparedness to join BJP creating flutter both in Congress and BJP camps. Notably, Gogoi on Wednesday refused to divulge the details of the pending cabinet reshuffle.
