BTC Budget session begins

The Bodoland Territorial Council's Budget Session for 2014-15 gets underway at the Bodoland Territorial Council Legislative Assembly(BTCLA) in Kokrajhar.

P Deuri Bharali,Secretary of Bodoland Territorial Council Legislative Assembly said that the budget session of council will begin from 10 am on Wednesday with three day programme scheduled as per Janaki Ballav Patnaik,Governor of Assam summon the sesion. He said BTC Chief and Finance in-charge(I/C) Hagrama Mohilary will present budget for 2014-15 sesssion on , besides holding discusssion on various issues and programmes.

He said there are several questions on various departments like Agriculture,Education,Irrigation and Health & Family welfare reached and deep discuss will take during the session.

He said that the council members are also likely to discuss on the salary hikes and allowances of MCLA of council as state Assembly discussed thoroughly on the hike of member salary and some other allowanc on its ongoing budget session.

He has said that members may place questions on the development and will put motion bringing peace and unity in the region. Bharali has also said that several bills will also be introduced on the session,adding said that all arrangements including security and preparations have been made for holding session in a helthy and smooth.
