Let up in flood scene

There is marginal let up in the over all flood scenario. The water levels of the Brahmaputra and its tributaries have stated redecing during the last 24 hours.

But over 50 villages in Dhemaji, Lakhimpur, Sonitpur and Jorhat districts are still reeling under water in the second round of floods.

Brahmaputra is flowing above the danger mark at Nematighat. Same it is in Beki which flowing over the danger mark at Barpeta town.
