Gogoi skips Delhi visit

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has skipped his trip to New Delhi on Monday after AICC rescheduled its crucial meeting where the party’s top policy making body was to discuss the Lok Sabha poll debacle.

AICC rescheduled the meeting following  Rahul Gandhi’s foreign trip. The meeting to be held on July 6 is expected to make some changes in the government and party.

The meeting is unlikely to consider the dissident CLP members’ plea for change of chief minister as it was expected earlier.

Dr CP Joshi, Motilal Vhora, Dr Ghulam Nabi Azad, AK Antony and Bhubneswar Kalita are scheduled to attend the meeting.
