Urban development building
BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary inaugurated the newly constructed building of the BTC council head of department(CHD) of Urban development department along JD Road on Friday in Kokrajhar.
The building was constructed at a costs of Rs.228.16 Lakhs under the plan funds of BTC in 2009-10 and 2010-201,of which Rs.111.85 Lakhs has been spent of fourth floor in its proposed complex.The building will also be accomodation for offices of the the deputy Director,Town and Country Planning and Chairman of Kokrajhar Development Authority.
Mohilary said the council administration has been planning to build greater master plan in all town and municipal boards so that council can meet well sustain urbanisations in the region.He said that the council will bring more usherings of the town and country planning in the region with good facilities among society.

A seven-years-old boy was succumbed to hospital following wall collapsed at Ghoskata Korida Madati sub-centre today in Kokrajhar district. According to family source, the boy identified as Bhim Brahma, son of Bircharan Brahma of Korida Madati village was received serious injuries following wall collapsed along the newly constructed wall at Korida Madati sub-centre this afternoon around 1 pm when he was playing with his friends.
