Assamese student attacked in Delhi

Despite so much hue and cry, the incidents of racial attack against the north easterners refuse to die down in New Delhi.

A section of Delhities studying in the various colleges and varsities is still active in the capital to attack the north east students.    

A degree student of Delhi University who hails from Assam was severally beaten up by a group of  students following an argument on Tuesday. That too inside the college campus.

The shocking incident took place in PGDAV College in South Campus in the afternoon a  group of 5 students attacked Pran Saikia over a petty issue in the canteen.

Pran, who was injuried on his lips, cheek and eye moved the authority with complaint before the main accused was caught by the police. Others in the group vanished from the spot.

Police have formally arrested a degree first year student and the college authority has suspended for his offence.
